I Read, I Think, I Write
Short Essays
“I write because I don’t know what I think until I read what I say.” - Flannery O'Connor
This website is connected with other things I am working on. Over the past year or so I have been sorting that out. After mulling over ways to explain this I have come up with the following:
I have a YouTube channel at YouTube.com/@MyShortEssays (in progress) where you can find brief summaries of these essays in this collection so you can decide whether or not you want to read one. If you choose to read one you can come directly to this cite or use the link in the description. Eventually, the YouTube channel will have teasers for all the essays in this collection and all the essays in this collection will have audio versions of the essays as well. Currently, this website is a little ahead of the YouTube channel, but I will eventually get them synchronized. When I add a teaser to the YouTube channel, the essay it refers to will have up to date text and audio. So, the best thing to do is to subscribe to the YouTube channel and select notifications. You will get a notification roughly once a month when a new teaser, essay text and audio are available.
When I get 42 essays, I will create a Kindle book and paperback on Amazon.
I also have a YouTube channel at YouTube.com/@ShortStoriesByMe which will work pretty much the same way with short stories.
And, if you would like to see other things that I am working on, I would encourage you to visit my main website at DrJohnArtz.com
